The history between Denice Zamboanga and Stamp Fairtex
Denice Zamboanga and Stamp Fairtex have plenty of familiarity with each other heading into their inevitable unification world title fight.
The women's atomweight MMA fighters once trained together at the Fairtex Training Center in Pattaya, Thailand. During this time, they became close friends before Zamboanga ultimately moved to Trex MMA in the Philippines.
In June 2024, Zamboanga was supposed to challenge Stamp for the division's undisputed world title. Instead, Stamp had to pull out after tearing her meniscus, leaving her sidelined during a lengthy recovery.
Zamboanga continued to pursue a matchup against Stamp by taking out Noelle Grandjean and Alyona Rassohyna, pushing her winning streak to four. 'The Menace' now seems destined to fight Stamp shortly after claiming the interim world title at ONE Fight Night 27.
