Superlek assures fans he can make weight for both of his scheduled fights

Superlek Kiatmoo9 has to juggle weight classes for his next two matches, but is confident of being able to make weight for both bouts.

The reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing king is billed to see action on June 28 in a flyweight Muay Thai battle against Kongthoranee Sor Sommai at ONE Friday Fights 68 then will be channeling his focus after for his all-champion title clash against bantamweight Muay Thai titleholder Jonathan Haggerty on Sept, 6 at ONE 168: Denver.

In an interview with the South China Morning Post, Superlek admitted that his situation with making weight for his upcoming matches is tricky but he assured fans he will be ready.

"The Kicking Machine' said:

"Well, of course, the weight would be tricky, the weight cut and the weight gain with such time difference. I think it is a bit tricky for me, because I was preparing to face Jonathan Haggerty at bantamweight. So I was focusing on gaining the weight, and now that there is this surprise match with Kongthoranee at flyweight, I have to cut the weight down.

He added:

"So is there a plan? Of course. But I just have to keep it a secret, but I can assure you that I'm working on it and I will make it happen."
