Gilbert Burns recently discussed Jose Aldo's age and jokingly insinuated that the bantamweight could be older than his listed age. The former UFC welterweight title challenger recalled their first interactions and he could be older.
'The King of Rio' is scheduled to return to the octagon for a bantamweight clash against Mario Bautista tomorrow night at UFC 307. It will be his second bout this year, having last earned a dominant unanimous decision win over Jonathan Martinez.
According to his official page on the promotion's website, the bantamweight competitor is listed as 38, which is the same age as his fellow countryman, 'Durinho'.
During the latest episode of his Show Me the Money Podcast, 'Durinho' told co-host Renato Moicano that the former UFC featherweight champion could be 40 years old. Burns mentioned that Aldo was older than him when first met and noted that his listed age might be inaccurate:

"If you saw, [Aldo] just turned 38 not long ago. I'm 38 but I remember...I was 18-years-old in Brazil...I was blue belt and Jose Aldo was kind of like, 19-20 when he moved to Rio and he was purple belt. Now I'm older than him. I remember when I was a blue belt, I was one or two years years younger than him, now I'm older than him. I don't what happened, but I'm older."

Renato Moicano confident Jose Aldo will win at UFC 307 despite being underdog
In addition to the discussion regarding Jose Aldo's age, Renato Moicano told Gilbert Burns that he is confident that the former featherweight champion will get his hand raised despite being an underdog.
During the aforementioned clip, Moicano mentioned that he believes Aldo is the best underdog on the UFC 307 card and picked him to defeat Mario Bautista:
"One thing is for sure, my brother, there is somebody that is not losing on this card and is [an] underdog, Jose Aldo is not losing to Mario Bautista. Not even in a million years."
