Former UFC welterweight title challenger Gilbert Burns is rumored to face undefeated prospect Michael Morales in a yet-to-be-determined event and date. Considering the former IBJJF world champion's three-fight losing streak, this match-up with a 17-0 star might have people scratching their heads.

While no official confirmation has been released on whether or not this fight will happen, Gilbert Burns is already addressing the match-up with the Ecuadorian striker. In an interview with Show Me The Money Podcast, 'Durinho' spoke about how he fares against Morales:

"I think the guy's very good. High-level. He's 17-0 or maybe 18-0. maybe? Crazy finishes...He's very tough. Very good. Very athletic. Looks very athletic. I started watching his fights a little bit just in case, like you said, the fight's not officially [a] done deal but I think he's going to play...I think it's a tough fight for me. Tough fight for him as well. I think, but as Money Moicano says, 'I canot afford to lose, bro'. It's been three already."

Gilbert Burns shares untold story about a Colby Covington run-in at a Florida concert

In the same podcast episode, Gilbert Burns also revealed an interesting story about his encounter with fellow former UFC welterweight title challenger Colby Covington. While 'Chaos' is known to be one of the most outspoken and provocative trash-talkers in the game today, it's been widely rumored that it's all a persona and he's quite the opposite in real life.

Burns confirmed this rumor by telling his story:

"There was a Brazilian concert going on... There was me and my wife and two other couples, and as we were walking off Colby was there. He saw me and he called me, 'Hey, come here.' I was ready if something happened. But then, this guy is so fake bro, he was like, 'Ohh Gilbert! I'm a huge fan. Bro, you're a warrior. A family guy. If I said something about you it was to promote, I'm sorry.'"

Burns admitted that while Covington was being nice and respectful, he was put off by this behavior as the American fighter rubbed a lot of people the wrong way with his words in the past. This two-faced persona that 'Chaos' employs for the sake of money-making doesn't seem to sit well with 'Durinho'.
