Gilbert Burns is promising a decisive win when he competes against Neil Magny tomorrow night at UFC 283.
During the UFC 283 weigh-in show, Burns spoke about his game plan for the bout with Magny. While speaking with the panel, he mentioned that he intends to put on a violent display, saying:
"Tomorrow night, I gotta be a hundred percent present. If I'll be there, I don't know...we don't know what's gonna be there fight night with the live cameras on. But if I'm there present - one hundred percent in there - I'm gonna finish Neil Magny. We're not doing more than 10 minutes tomorrow if I'm present tomorrow."
Despite Magny being a resilient fighter, 'Durinho' revealed that he puts pressure on himself to finish his opponents in each fight and that hasn't changed for his welterweight clash at UFC 283.

He said:
"I'm just gonna do me. And I don't even look at the odds to be honest. I just...it's always a pressure on my back to finish these guys. I put that pressure, I want a finish. And to be honest, right now I just gotta rest, I gotta relax."
Gilbert Burns is heading into the fight as the No.5 ranked welterweight and is looking to bounce back from his loss to Khamzat Chimaev at UFC 273 last April. Meanwhile, 'The Haitian Sensation' is coming off an impressive submission win against Daniel Rodriguez and is looking to extend his winning streak and get closer to the title picture at 170 lbs.

Gilbert Burns wants a rematch with Khamzat Chimaev
Gilbert Burns opened up about wanting a rematch with Khamzat Chimaev down the line. The two welterweights fought at UFC 273 last April, which saw Chimaev earn a unanimous decision in a back-and-forth fight that earned both a bonus for Fight of the Night.
While speaking to reporters ahead of his bout with Neil Magny, 'Durinho' mentioned that he would love another crack at 'Borz' and is even open to meeting him at catchweight, saying:
"I'll fight this guy back. We're not done. Anytime that I got a chance, we're gonna fight again for sure. It can't be on his condition. 'Okay, I cannot make 170{lbs} right now.' Let's say he says that. Okay, f**** it, we'll meet in the middle - 178, 180."
If Gilbert Burns earns a decisive win against 'The Haitian Sensation', it will be interesting to see if he decides to call out Chimaev for a rematch.
