Gilbert Burns is set to face Neil Magny at UFC 283 on January 21 in his home country of Brazil. 'Durinho' is coming off a tough loss to rising superstar Khamzat Chimaev and hopes to bounce back well against a formidable opponent in Magny.
'The Haitian Sensation' has a resume to rival anyone's in MMA today, as Magny has fought legends, up-and-comers and everyone in between. His willingness to fight anyone has led his upcoming opponent to claim that Magny should have the BMF title.
The title, which stands for 'Baddest Motherf****r', was invented for the Nate Diaz-Jorge Masvidal fight at UFC 244. But the belt has become synonymous with any fighter who fans and fellow fighters think deserves it.
Gilbert Burns was recently interviewed by Michael Bisping on his podcast Believe You Me. During the show, 'Durinho' praised Magny's mentality and said the following:

"The guy fights anyone. He's another one, he is the one who should have that BMF title. Because he doesn't care. It's a thing that I want to have that I don't have, that I respect that he does. He fights, if he loses he doesn't give a s**t, a couple months later he's fighting again."

Gilbert Burns wants to finish Neil Magny in Brazil at UFC 283
Gilbert Burns recently spoke about how he's altered his training camp in preparation for his upcoming fight against Neil Magny to give him the best chance of finishing his opponent.
Burns' last fight was against Khamzat Chimaev, one he narrowly lost via decision. The defeat frustrated 'Durinho' so much that he won't settle for anything less than a finish at UFC 283.
Burns no longer trusts the judges to make the correct call and will do his best to put his opponent away for the remainder of his fights. During the same episode of Bisping's aforementioned podcast, the Brazilian said:
"I want a finish in Brazil, I don't just want a decision. Take the guy down and hold him down or whatever. No, I want a finish. I'm working my butt off for this fight. I do respect [Magny] so much, but I see I can finish him and that's exactly what I'm working towards."
The 170lbs clash on the main card of UFC 283 will be an exciting affair as No.12-ranked UFC welterweight, Neil Magny, takes on No.5-ranked Gilbert Burns.
