Jonathan Haggerty listed three dream opponents he would've liked to fight.
Over his decade-long career, Haggerty has fought several legendary opponents, including Superlek x2, Rodtang x2, Nong-O, and Sam-A. At 27 years old, the UK superstar has time to continue building his already impressive resume, but there are a few desired matchups he likely won't be able to fulfill.
Haggerty recently appeared on the Winners Talking Podcast and had this to say about three opponents he wants to fight:
"[Conor] McGregor, number one. I would have loved to fight Liam Harrison, to be honest. Give the UK fans what they want. And Saenchai. At the time, he was a bit heavier than me, but he’s fighting, that bloke. He’s never gonna stop. He’ll fight like the biggest guys as well and somehow he just wins. Yeah, put in Saenchai, number three. Them three."

Jonathan Haggerty scheduled for first kickboxing world title defense
On Sept. 6, Jonathan Haggerty's run as the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai king ended. The UK superstar pursued greatness by attempting to defend his throne against Superlek. 'The Kicking Machine' had other plans and landed a picture-perfect elbow for a 49-second knockout win.
Haggerty remains the ONE bantamweight kickboxing world champion, with his first title defense scheduled for February 20, 2025.
Haggerty will headline ONE 171: Qatar against Chinese kickboxing contender Wei Rui. 'Demon Blade' made his ONE Championship debut in May, earning a title shot by securing a unanimous decision against former world champion Hiroki Akimoto.
ONE 171: Qatar goes down inside the Lusail Sports Arena in Lusail. The co-main event features a strawweight MMA world title trilogy matchup between reigning champion Joshua Pacio and interim title holder Jarred Brooks.
Other matchups announced for the February 2025 event are Shamil Gasanov vs. Martin Nguyen (featherweight MMA), Bibian Fernandes vs. Kevin Belingon 4 (bantamweight MMA), Dagi Arslanaliev vs. Roberto Soldic (welterweight MMA), and Ayaka Miura vs. Ritu Phogat (women's atomweight MMA).
