MMA fans did not seem too impressed with McGregor's training video and let their thoughts be known on social media.
One user accused the Irishman of misusing his fighting skills against lower-level athletes.
"Beating up on white belts."
Another individual poked fun at McGregor, asking him to visit Dagestan in order to learn grappling.
"Go to Dagestan, they will teach well there."
One person argued that the technique used by the Irishman in the video clip would not work against a UFC fighter.
"LOL he is obviously grappling with an inexperienced kid. If he tries to grapple and sit up that high with one knee on a UFC fighter they will knock him off easy, reverse him and make him tap like he does so well."

McGregor has been out of action since July 2021. In his last UFC outing, 'The Notorious' locked horns against Dustin Poirier in a trilogy bout at UFC 264. The night did not go well for the Irishman as he suffered a gruesome leg injury in the first round. The injury resulted in the fight being stopped and 'The Diamond' was declared the winner by TKO via doctor stoppage.
McGregor was expected to make his long-awaited UFC comeback against Michael Chandler at UFC 303 in July this year. But the fight fell through as 'The Notorious' suffered a toe injury.
