"Going to jail" - Fans react as Caleb Plant hurls beer at Ryan Garcia and sparks full-on brawl at Gervonta Davis fight

Ryan Garcia has made himself the center of attention, despite tonight belonging to Gervonta Davis for his knockout win over Frank Martin. Nevertheless, 'KingRy' and fellow trash-talking pugilist Caleb Plant clashed in a brawl following the latter's decision to throw a beer at the former.

Despite the melee, neither man truly came to blows as security intervened to keep them separate. On the surface, Plant's actions seem unprovoked, as Garcia was merely walking away from the ring, presumably to either head backstage or leave the arena altogether.

However, the reason behind Plant's actions was due to Garcia's online trash talk, with which the former IBF super middleweight champion has taken issue. A matchup between the pair, however, is unlikely due to the difference in size. Plant has fought as high as light heavyweight, while Garcia is a lightweight.

Nevertheless, the pair's brawl drew tremendous fan attention, with one fan claiming that Plant has put himself at risk of legal trouble, due to the nature of his actions matching physical assault.

"He maybe going to jail after this he don't know how social media works"

Another fan, however, suspected that the entire confrontation was pre-planned, especially due to Garcia's promotional eye. He suspects a possible matchup, despite the large disparity in weight.

"Seems orchestrated. Ryan knows what hea doing and I wouldn't put it past Caleb to ride this wave to a big pay day."

One comment poked fun at Garcia for being caught off-guard by the assault.

"Lol garcia didn't think plant would pull up"

Some even advised Garcia to leave Plant be.
