Jonathan Haggerty knows that his next opponent at ONE 168: Denver will be a tough nut to crack. Slated to defend his ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world title against the ONE flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9 on Sept, 6, 'The General' knows that he has to be at his very best when they lock horns.

For that reason, Haggerty has been working on a proper game plan to overcome Superlek's slick technique and power, and he expects his foe to make mistakes for him to exploit.

He is also training hard to withstand the gruelling five-round battle which will headline ONE's second on-ground spectacle in U.S. soil.

Speaking in a video uploaded to his YouTube channel, Haggerty said:

"For this fight, I'm gonna be working with my strength and conditioning coach I've always used, which is Tom. He set me up a program, obviously he can't be out here with me, a 13-week program and I'm literally on week four now. Most of it is mainly explosiveness."

He added:

"Gonna try to get strong for this fight and let Superlek know we're stronger than him than the last time he met us."
