Gordon Ryan and Craig Jones' feud is far from over, as the former recently slammed the latter and responded to Nicky Rodriguez's million-dollar callout. Ryan also offered to take on Jones and Rodriguez on the same night, taking a dig at both B-Team core members.
Jones and the Abu Dhabi Combat Club (ADCC) notably hosted their Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournaments on the same weekend. The Australian has advocated for improved wages and has been a prominent critic of the ADCC's practices.
As a result, Jones started his own tournament, the 'Craig Jones Invitational' (CJI), which attracted a large field of athletes and is now perceived as a direct challenge to the ADCC's business model because of its larger prize pool.
Following Rodriguez's victory in the over 80KG division at the CJI, the world-class heavyweight grappler called out Ryan, saying:

Gordon Ryan reveals injury suffered at ADCC 2024
Gordon Ryan recently sustained a knee injury at this year's ADCC tournament. Ryan won both super-fights against Felipe Pena and Yuri Simoes on Aug. 17 and Aug. 18, respectively.
In an Instagram post, he disclosed that he tore his LCL during his contest against Pena and detailed his performance, writing:
"In the first ten minutes of my match with Felipe, I pretty badly tore my LCL (grade 2). Once I cooled down and the dust settled, I had very little stability in my knee, couldn't bend or straighten it all the way...When it was match time, my knee was instable but almost pain-free. I was able to put on a mask and go out there as if everything was okay and get the win"
