Former kickboxing world champion Andrew Tate's brother Tristan Tate revealed his favorite UFC fighter on Friday. The UFC suffered a major setback as Islam Makhachev's title defense against Arman Tsarukyan was put to a halt with the latter suffering a back injury.
Makhachev is now scheduled to make the fourth defense of his title against No.10-ranked lightweight contender Renato Moicano. The Brazilian was supposed to take on Beneil Dariush but was promoted to the main event spot after Tsarukyan's injury.
After UFC President Dana White took to X to announce the news, former UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski commented:
"Why didn’t you call me??"

Tate quote-tweeted Volkanovski's post and said:
"This is why he’s my favorite UFC fighter."

When Andrew Tate expressed an interest in a potential fight with Conor McGregor
Andrew Tate shed light on a potential fight with former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor back in 2022. Tate revealed that a fight between him and McGregor would gain a lot of viewers and attention and would generate good money.
Speaking about a potential fight, Tate said:
"That’s an interesting one, I guess. I mean he is still in his prime, I’m a lot bigger than him. He is very good, very capable. We would certainly have a lot of good trash talk. It would make a lot of money. But again I would need a personal problem with him to fight him...I have nothing against Conor, kind of like the guy so there would have to be a good reason.”
