Former UFC middleweight title challenger Marvin Vettori has booked his first fight of 2025. On March 15, at UFC Vegas 104, 'The Italian Dream' will face Georgian standout Roman Dolidze in a rematch of their 2023 bout. Dolidze is coming off back-to-back wins, while Vettori is 1-2 in his last three inside the octagon. This time, it won't be a three-round affair as the two will headline the night in a five-round war.

Marvin Vettori defeated Roman Dolidze via unanimous decision back in 2023
Marvin Vettori and Roman Dolidze met at UFC 286 in London, England back in March of 2023. 'The Italian Dream' was coming off of a loss, while 'The Caucasian' was riding a four-fight winning streak.
Dolidze came out aggressive in the first round, taking the center of the octagon for the most part of the first five minutes. His aggressive bullying style paid off as he landed some hard shots that caused some concern for Vettori.
Not much concerned for technique or even defense, Dolidze was like a steel locomotive, eating shots while winging hooks left and right.
In the second round, the Georgian took his foot off the gas as Vettori took control of the fight and landed more than a few significant strikes. His precise striking and counter-punching scored him the second frame.
With 1-1 coming into the third round, Dolidze went back to his bulldozing ways and peppered Vettori with hammering hooks. The Italian fighter, for his part, tried to answer his opponent's power strikes with his one, punch-for-punch.
Once the scorecards had been tallied, the razor-close battle went to Vettori via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27), much to the dismay and booing of the London crowd.
