Fans are in readiness to witness Michael 'Venom' Page potentially fighting Shara Magomedov.

At UFC 308, Magomedov extended his promotional record to 4-0 with a highlight-reel knockout against Armen Petrosyan. Less than one week removed, the undefeated Russian already has a potential next opponent calling him out.

During an interview with MMA Fighting, No. 13-ranked Michael 'Venom' Page had this to say about Magomedov:

"[Shara Magomedov] just fought and did the double spinning back knuckle knockout. Then he called out my boy Izzy [Adesanya]. Mate, I'm at that weight right now. You don't even have to wait too long. That one there, I'll just take straight away just for the fun of it."

Page's quote was re-posted on X, leading to the following fan reactions:

Michael 'Venom' Page made his second latest UFC appearance in June this year. Following an impressive showing against Kevin Holland, the 37-year-old came up short in his promotional sophomore outing, suffering a unanimous decision defeat against Ian Machado Garry at UFC 303.

Shara Magomedov's coach, Gor Azizyan, recently interacted with Russian media outlet UDAR TV. Azizyan claimed Magomedov's next fight will take place on Feb. 1 in Abu Dhabi against an unknown opponent.

Magomedov's second UFC win earned him the No. 14 spot in the middleweight rankings. Therefore, it'll be intriguing to see if the 30-year-old is matched up against No.15-ranked Michel Pereira or someone ranked ahead of him. already has a potential next opponent calling him out. Interestingly, Magomedov called out former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya in his post-fight octagon interview.
