Gustavo Balart is out to prove that he'll have Jarred Brooks' number wherever their fight unfolds at ONE Fight Night 24.
After a slow start in the world's largest martial arts organization, the Cuban Olympian has turned over a new leaf and racked up four back-to-back triumphs against Yosuke Saruta, Ryuto Sawada, Hiroba Minowa, and Alex Silva.
Now, the American Top Team warrior finds himself one win away from laying his hands on the ONE interim strawweight MMA world title that will be on offer when he squares off against 'The Monkey God' inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, on Friday, August 2.

Addressing his advantages over Brooks, Gustavo Balart told ONE Championship that his dance partner will have a lot more to worry about than just his wrestling:
"When he tries to do that [takedowns] to me and realizes that he cannot do it, he will also find out my striking is better than his. It'll be the end for him."
As they head into this showdown, Balart's impressive winning run has taken him to the No.3-ranked spot in the stacked division.
Brooks, who sits at the top of the ranked spots, aims to return to winning ways after surrendering his strawweight MMA crown to Pacio at ONE 166: Qatar this past March.
Jarred Brooks says Gustavo Balart finish is a certainty
Gustavo Balart, of course, isn't the only party who's confident of dominating this world title tilt inside the Mecca of Muay Thai.
Brooks, for his part, shares a similar point of view, even admitting that he'd be happy to let 'El Gladiador' pick his own fate.
He told Sportskeeda MMA previously:
"Man, this is martial arts. It's like a dice, man. You roll the dice every time that you go in there. So Gustavo, pick which one, and I'm gonna do it to you, submission or KO, or anything that comes."
Balart vs Brooks headlines ONE Fight Night 24, which will be available to all active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
