Jarred Brooks knows he's in for a tough test when he steps inside the Circle with streaking Cuban sensation Gustavo Balart.
Four months after surrendering the ONE strawweight MMA world title due to an unfortunate disqualification, 'The Monkey God' will look to add interim gold to his collection when he meets Balart in a can't-miss showdown at ONE Fight Night 24 on Friday, August 2 inside the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
The winner will leave with the interim ONE strawweight MMA world championship, setting the stage for a unification clash with undisputed titleholder Joshua Pacio.

Speaking with Sportskeeda MMA in an exclusive interview, Jarred Brooks sang the praises of Balart, saying:
"Gustavo Balart is no joke. He’s on a four-fight winning streak, he’s fought in the flyweight division, he’s not afraid of anybody. Even though he’s 4-foot-11, wait…I don’t know about that, I think he’s lying about that. He might be 4-foot-10…but yeah, he’s good."
Gustavo Balart looks for his fifth-straight win against Jarred Brooks on August 2
While Jarred Brooks has had his fair share of title fights under the ONE Championship banner, this will be Gustavo Balart's first time competing for gold on martial arts' biggest global stage.
After starting his ONE career with three-straight losses, 'El Gladiador' made the necessary adjustments and has since scored four straight wins inside the Circle, including an impressive victory over fourth-ranked contender Hiroba Minowa in his last outing.
Will Balart become ONE Championship's newest ONE world champion when he steps back inside the Mecca of Muay Thai at ONE Fight Night 24 on Prime Video, or will 'The Monkey God' once again hoist gold over his head and secure himself a trilogy fight with Joshua Pacio?
ONE Championship fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE Fight Night 24 live and for free via Amazon Prime Video in U.S. primetime on Friday, August 2.
