ONE atomweight star, Ham Seo Hee, is one of the most consistently successful female fighters in ONE Championship today. The South Korean slugger is currently on a nine-fight overall winning streak, including three straight in the promotion. Her fierceness and no-nonsense approach to cage fighting has consistently produced wins, whether in ONE Championship or the many other organizations she's been a part of.
Much like many other fighters, 'Hamzzang' subscribes to pre-fight rituals. Although we are sure that it was her pure dedication and fighting skills that got her where she is, her pre-fight ritual definitely helped calm her nerves before the fight.
Ham posted the said ritual on her Instagram account:
"❤️ The same prayer all the time."

Having the confidence that your God is walking behind you and giving you the power to overcome your nemesis will certainly bring out champions out of warriors.
Ham Seo Hee defeats Itsuki Hirata via unanimous decision at ONE Fight Night 8
South Korean MMA star and ONE atomweight elite Ham Seo Hee successfully put her short rivalry with Japanese rising star Itsuki Hirata to bed at ONE Fight Night 8. 'Hamzzang' defeated 'Android 18' via a clear decision in a lopsided fight that saw Ham win the bout on all of the judges' scorecards.
The Judo-based Hirata was on a grappling-heavy gameplan as she tried many times to take the fight to the mat. She was, however, easily thwarted by Ham Seo Hee on almost all fronts. The Japanese fighter desperately tried to ground 'Hamzzang', even pulling guard and receiving a yellow card due to her refusal to engage in the striking realm.
Hirata was able to put Ham down in the third round, but wasn't able to do enough to close the gap, giving the South Korean a clear UD win.
In an interview with SCMP MMA on YouTube, Ham spoke about her opponent's refusal to dance with her during the striking exchanges. She then expressed her hopes of facing a more worthy dance partner in her next fight:
"I would really love to do that, but once again it’s very very hard for one person to aim for that knockout. There’s gotta be a dance to it. But if ONE Championship’s willing to give me someone who’s willing to dance with me, I’m sure an exciting result would follow."
