At ONE Fight Night 8 on on Prime Video, Ham Seo Hee will compete in one of the biggest fights of her career. As a veteran of the atomweight division, she will look to defend her No.2 ranking against the division’s most exciting prospect Itsuki Hirata. The fight was scheduled to take place in November last year but was canceled due to Hirata missing weight.
With the stakes at play in the fight, the match-up was rebooked for ONE Fight Night 8 on March at the Singapore Indoor Stadium where the winner will surely see herself solidify a shot at the world champion.
After earning a split decision win on her ONE Championship debut, the South Korean contender left no room for debate in her rematch with Denice Zamboanga, taking the unanimous verdict the second time around. It remains unclear when ONE women’s atomweight world champion Angela Lee will return to the competition and with that in mind, Ham Seo Hee is not focusing too much on who she wants to face should she earn a world title shot.
In an interview with the South China Morning Post on YouTube, she said:

At ONE Fight Night 8 on March 24, she will try to put all of her accumulated knowledge into practice when she takes on Itsuki Hirata in the Japanese standout’s eighth professional fight.
