Was Krzysztof Jotko unbeaten before joining the UFC?

Before joining the UFC in 2013, Jotko had a perfect 13-0 record in professional MMA. The former UFC fighter competed in regional events before taking on Bruno Santos on his debut in the UFC.

Krzysztof Jotko managed to beat Santos at UFC Fight Night 33: Hunt vs. Bigfoot via unanimous decision. However, in his second fight under the UFC banner, Jotko tasted defeat for the first time in his pro-MMA career.

The Polish fighter took on Magnus Cedenblad at UFC Fight Night 41: Munoz vs. Mousasi in 2014. He was submitted by Cedenblad in the second round.

It's currently unknown why Jotko was kicked out of the promotion, but the 33-year-old's lack of stoppage victories could have played a factor.
