Jon Jones and Tom Aspinall are still trading words online, with the interim champion firm in his belief that 'Bones' does not want to fight him. Most recently, the Mancunian labeled him as the "champion of dodging fights," prompting a heated response from Jones.
After winning the interim heavyweight title against Sergei Pavlovich, Aspinall began his callout of 'Bones', the current undisputed heavyweight champion.
Jones was scheduled to defend his belt against Stipe Miocic at UFC 295, but a torn pectoral muscle forced the champion to withdraw from the fight, and an interim heavyweight title fight was scheduled as a replacement.
But with Jones vs. Miocic having not yet taken place, the interim titleholder has grown impatient, and has taken to social media to try to poke at the American. During a recent interview with Sport Bible, Aspinall was asked who was the champion of fight dodging in the UFC, and said this:

The 37-year-old came upon the video online and shared the following response:
"This dude literally has my large black c**k in his mouth every week. I'm flattered. I absolutely guarantee he will not win more world championships than me. That's truly all that matters at the end of the day. There's been many champions, no one like me. I sleep good at night."
Tom Aspinall says he will be back-up for Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic
Tom Aspinall is chomping at the bit to get a chance to fight the man who many regard as the GOAT of MMA - Jon Jones.
'Bones' is currently at the tail-end of his recovery from a torn pectoral muscle suffered several weeks before his scheduled bout with Stipe Miocic at UFC 295. The heavyweight title fight has not been officially re-booked yet, but there are suggestions that their bout will happen at UFC 309 in November.
The Mancunian recently confirmed that if the bout takes place, he will be serving as the replacement fighter. He said this:
"The UFC spoke to me directly about that, I said, 'I'm in!' Somebody pulls out, I'm in. One day notice, ten day notice, ten weeks notice, one hour notice, I'll be prepared for that date."
