Alexis Nicolas urges those who doubt the legitimacy of his world title win over Regian Eersel to simply look at the damage output.
As far as the lightweight kickboxing world champion is concerned, he delivered more significant strikes throughout their epic five-round slugfest at ONE Fight Night 21 this past April.
On the contrary, 'Barboza' also pointed out that Eersel barely caught him with anything, as he was able to block and evade most of the Surinamese star's rebuttals.

With less than a week before these two titans share the Lumpinee Stadium ring once more, Nicolas told ONE why there shouldn't be any controversy involved since the rightful victor was crowned that night:
"I have a different style. He didn’t touch me, but I was able to touch him. The judge only loved the violence. He got himself punched, I was able to protect myself, he wasn’t able to touch me, but when I hit him, he fell down."
While Alexis Nicolas' well-timed right hook that floored Eersel in the second round gets the most credit for this big win, it's actually his underrated footwork that sealed the deal.
For sure, the Frenchman will once again rely on movement and distance management when he runs it back with 'The Immortal' at ONE Fight Night 25.
Alexis Nicolas gunning for a finish this time around
Alexis Nicolas is aware that a resounding finish will be the only way to erase all doubts.
After going the distance last time out against Eersel, the savate specialist doesn't want the judges to be involved at ONE Fight Night 25 on Oct. 4 at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
In the same interview, 'Barboza' promised to put away Eersel and collect some bonus money along the way:
"Last time, Eersel was undefeated for many years, so I was sure that if I win against him, I will get a bonus. But there was no bonus for me. Maybe next time, I have to knock him out to get this."
ONE Fight Night 25 will air live in US primetime free of charge for Prime Video subscribers in North America.
