Sam-A made sure not to give Hamidi a chance to get going as he marched forward and pressured him in the opening sequence of the bout. He also brought out his signature kicks to force the 25-year-old French-Algerian athlete to fight on his back foot.

The Thai icon then unleashed a thunderous left hook that made Hamidi's eyes roll back as he was knocked down. He tried to stand up and continue to fight but was sent to the shadow realm with another straight left punch from Sam-A.

This age-defying performance from the Evolve MMA representative has left fans in awe, as users @blacketernal7139, @hinano316, @kuvseemmeme, and @ThugMuffined sent their praise to him through the comments:

"Mans hands were down. He was not there at all."
"You got knock the hell out 😂"
"he was still dzzzzzed...should've been stopped but rules are rules, he nodded his head ready so......................."
"Dude needs to put his hands up and fight not think about what hes having for supper"

Sam-A showed sympathy to Akram Hamidi after knocking him out cold in their fight

During his post-fight interview with Nick Atkin, Sam-A revealed that his emotions were put on a roller-coaster because of what happened to Hamidi.

Although he was very happy about the result of the match, where he collected his eighth triumph under the promotion, he was also sympathetic of 'Le Petite' because he was stretched out of the ring after getting knocked out.

The 40-year-old veteran revealed:

"Yes. In the ring, I'm still happy, but when I moved around, I saw him still laid like that, I was really shocked and really sad. Because I can see that my opponent is not looking good."
