Over three years since his last fight, Conor McGregor continues to work on his elusive UFC return but has not taken his mind off of boxing. 'The Notorious' continues to tease big fights across all combat sports despite still being under contract with the UFC.
In his latest live stream with his sports betting sponsor, Duelbits, McGregor answered a fan question about boxing and claimed that promoters are "always" contacting him about fights. McGregor called himself the biggest draw in the sport and said that he was recently in talks for a two-fight crossover deal with Terence Crawford. The Irishman stated that the negotiations were angling for one fight in both boxing and MMA but Crawford declined.
McGregor said:
"I get on the phone and say [Terence] Crawford, they're talking about you and me. Two-fight deal: MMA first, boxing second. I said: 'I know you got an extensive background and b*lls the size of a Bengali tiger. They're asking for a fight. It's gonna be hundreds of millions on the line.' And he goes: 'I don't fancy taking a kick off of Conor McGregor.'"

The claims of a hypothetical crossover fight with the pound-for-pound No. 1 boxer did not get the reaction from fans that McGregor might have hoped. Instead of excitement, many accused the 36-year-old of either lying or making another empty promise.
One fan jokingly accused McGregor of being on "coke," commenting:
"He's coked to his gills"
Others commented:
"Delulu"
"Conor doesn't fancy a punch from Terence"
"He's so full of it; all he does is talk now"

Conor McGregor's boxing record
If Conor McGregor is to ever return to the boxing ring, it would be his second career fight in the sport. 'The Notorious' has a mere 0-1 record in the sweet science but is responsible for one of the biggest events in combat sports history in his lone match.
McGregor convinced the UFC to a rare co-promotion in 2017 when he fought Floyd Mayweather Jr. in Las Vegas. The event received a reported four million pay-per-view purchases, making it one of the most successful pay-per-views in sports history.
McGregor lost the fight by 10th-round TKO but his resilient star power continue to make him an undeniable draw. The Irishman's name is also often brought up in the BKFC, a promotion that he is a part-owner of.
