Kulabdam Sor Jor Piek Uthai is confident that John Lineker, the former ONE bantamweight MMA world champion and now Muay Thai star, has a bright future in 'The Art of Eight Limbs' after their three-round war at ONE Fight Night 27 on Friday, Jan. 10.
'Left Meteorite' spoke with combat sports journalist Nick Atkin of the Bangkok Post following his barnburner with Lineker inside the Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand, and said:
"I think his skills in Muay Thai is quite good and I think how he's physically built is very advantageous for him. I don't know how other people would feel, but for me, I think athletes who are shorter and have strong build are favored because when they face taller opponents, it's hard for their opponent to aim which part they want to hit. So that's why I think he could be a contender one day."

The Sor Jor Piek Uthai affiliate took home the unanimous decision victory over Lineker, but not without difficulty. 'Hands of Stone' shockingly dropped him in round one, which prompted the 26-year-old to unleash his arsenal on the heavy-handed Brazilian to emerge with the win.
Kulabdam unsurprised with win over John Lineker
Kulabdam's come-from-behind victory against John Lineker may have surprised some fans, but the two-time Lumpinee Stadium Muay Thai World Champion expected it to be the result.
The ONE bantamweight Muay Thai mainstay said during the post-event press conference:
"If you asked me if I was surprised, I wasn't surprised, despite the knockdown. I believe that I did better in terms of the second round and the third round. I believe that I did more damage."
