"He got T-boned"- Former UFC champion's career-altering crash sparks Joe Rogan’s eye-opening remarks on motorcycle safety

Joe Rogan recently highlighted a terrifying accident involving a former UFC fighter, which made him extremely wary of motorcycles. In addition to talking about motorcycle safety, the UFC commentator also shared details of a few more of his friends' mishaps.

In an episode of The Joe Rogan Experience, Rogan had UFO investigator and documentary filmmaker James Fox on his podcast, discussing various issues. When Fox discussed the experience of riding a motorcycle at the end of the show, Rogan added that he wanted to ride one but that he thought they were unsafe, saying:

''I wish they weren't so dangerous because I would love to drive one...I had three friends, I was getting my motorcycle license, so I was doing it was a while ago, 10 years so it was a couple of us that worked on Fear Factor, a couple of the guys that worked on set. We all decided to go and take lessons together...and but one of the guys we worked with, he crashed his bike and fu**ed up his shoulder.''

Rogan went on to disclose the former UFC fighter and heavyweight champion Frank Mir and a handful of the 57-year-old's pals' encounters with motorcycle accidents.

''Then one of the guys who was fighting for the UFC, Frank Mir, he got hit by car, he got T-boned and ran into his femur, snapped his femur and he almost lost his leg his leg and it fu**ed up his career for years.

Joe Rogan becomes candid about Donald Trump's opinion on UFOs

In the aforementioned conversation with James Fox, Joe Rogan discussed current president-elect Donald Trump's stance on UFOs.

Rogan brought attention to Trump's relatively careless approach to making public statements regarding UFOs. However, the UFC commentator added that the real estate mogul wasn't wholly negative about this matter:

''When I confronted Mr. Trump [about the issue of UFO sightings] he was very cagey. Very cagey. [Quoting and imitating Trump] 'I've seen some things. They've [the investigating authorities] told me some things.' He didn't tell me '[it's all] s*it'."

Fox later claimed that US authorities had suppressed important information about recent UFO sightings. He emphasized that Trump should prioritize finding the origins of these hovering over military bases.

"We got objects of Unknown Origin flying over residential areas flying over military bases flying over nuclear silos. That's a matter of National Security." [23:46]
