Reigning and undisputed ONE lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion Christian Lee has been out for more than two years. But he hasn't just sat on the sidelines.

The 26-year-old double champ has been hard at work behind closed doors, honing his skills and perfecting his craft for his eventual return to action. That time has now come, and Lee says he is excited to showcase his improvements.

However, he wasn't alone in training all this time. By his side, stuck together like glue, is younger brother 'The Phenom' Adrian Lee.

Christian describes what happened in their time off, and how they chose to continue training in light of mourning younger sister Victoria Lee's untimely passing.

'The Warrior' told ONE Championship in a recent interview:

"Since I was last in the Circle, I took a lot of time off and then got to spend a lot of time at home with my family. My son was born, so we got to spend a lot of time at home with him and my daughter. That time at home was really great. Also during that time, I was training my brother a lot. So, basically, we closed the gym down and it was just me and my brother continuing our training."

Christian Lee continued:

"He was over at my house every day. We would wake up in the morning at 5:00 a.m. and lift weights and train. We kind of started that up and kept it going. Still today, when I run my fight camps, I start at 5:30 a.m. So that was kind of something we started off during that time and then we just kept going."
