Joe Rogan recently heaped praise on Donald Trump after his impression of Elon Musk. The UFC commentator noted that the former US President is great at public speaking and compared him to a comedian.
Trump is in the midst of election season in the country as he attempts to secure a second term as the leader of the country. He was unable to achieve the same in the 2020 election and has since hosted several rallies in an attempt to encourage voters to cast their ballots for him.
Trump's rallies and debates are far from being traditional as he usually speaks his mind the majority of the time rather than sticking to a scripted speech.

During a recent episode of JRE with his guest Tom Segura, the UFC commentator complimented the former US President's public speaking skills and his recent impersonation of Musk. Rogan mentioned that Trump does well gauging his audience and at the same time, getting his message across similar to how a stand-up comedian would:

"The thing that [Trump] does that it's just like, he could do it better than anybody alive is just riff. He could go out there and have a crowd of people and he's funny, man. He does things like, he did an Elon [Musk] impression the other day, it was hilarious...He's killing. He kills like a comedian...He's funny like a comic. It's just like we don't necessarily want that as the guy with his finger on the button." [16:46 - 17:14]

Joe Rogan disputes claims that Donald Trump was a bad leader
Joe Rogan hasn't shied away from sharing his opinion, especially pertaining to politics and recently disputed claims that Donald Trump was a bad leader when he was US President.
During the aforementioned episode, Rogan mentioned that despite how many felt about him personally, it can't be denied that Trump had the country in a positive economic situation:
"He wasn't a dictator, he was the President. He actually was the President for four years and the economy really did well, and he really did try to cut some of the bullsh*t down that's going on in this country and who knows what would've happened if he had four more years." [17:23 - 17:37]
