The footage caught the attention of several MMA fans, who took to social media to share their thoughts on it.
One fan used a video game reference to describe Pereira's recent activities outside the octagon.
"[Alex Pereira] levels up with every side quest."
Another individual shared that hopefully, Pereira was not performing the backflips in an attempt to imitate Justin Gaethje's post-fight celebration.
"Please don't be training to pull off a Gaethje off the top of the cage."
One fan took the video as opportunity to accuse him of dodging a fight against Magomed Ankalaev.
"Still doing anything to not fight Ankalaev."
Check out a compilation of some of the reactions below:
Alex Pereira was last seen in action in October when he took on Khalil Rountree Jr. for the title at UFC 307. 'Poatan' gave a masterful performance that night and scored a fourth-round knockout. The bout was awarded Fight of the Night and both individuals took home an additional sum of $50,000 each.
Many MMA fans now expect Pereira to lock horns against Ankalaev in his next outing. Ankalaev is currently riding a 13-fight unbeaten streak in the UFC, which includes wins over names like Aleksandar Rakic, Johnny Walker, Anthony Smith, Volkan Oezdemir, Thiago Santos and Ion Cutelaba.
According to Ankalaev, the two light heavyweights will possibly lock horns in May next year.
It must be noted that no official announcement regarding this fight has been made by the UFC yet.
