Renato Moicano recently expressed his opinion about Shavkat Rakhmonov's defense style. Despite Rakhmonov's undefeated record, Moicano didn't seem impressed by his methods of self-protection. The Brazilian also compared his defensive maneuvers to the movements of Frankenstein.
Rakhmonov's UFC run has been nothing short of glorious to date. 'Nomad' entered the UFC with an undefeated 11-0 record and a 100% finish rate. Even after seven UFC fights, he still holds both records, which proves how dominant he has been inside the octagon. Currently, he is in the final days of his training camp for his UFC 310 encounter against Ian Machado Garry.
The trio of Moicano, Gilbert Burns, and the podcast host, Matty Betss, engaged in a conversation about Rakhmonov's defense during the latest episode of the 'Show Me The Money' podcast. None of Rakhmonov's UFC rivals have been able to cause significant problems for him inside the octagon.

Lauro Sanko appreciates Shavkat Rakhmonov's unwavering resolve to fighting
UFC play-by-play commentator Laura Sanko lauded Rakhmonov multiple times due to his nonchalant fighting style.
Sanko resorted to the same tune during the latest episode of One On One. This time, she talked about Rakhmonov's UFC 285 fight against Geoff Neal to highlight his never-back-down attitude during a fight. Sanko said:
"He [Rakhmonov] fought for three full minutes without a mouthpiece in that fight against Geoff Neal, Geoff 'Handz of Stone [Steel]' Neal. He could've motioned to his mouth, he could have waved a finger at the referee and been like, 'Hey, my mouthpiece is out.'
"I can't remember who the ref was, but I think it was Herb [Dean]. Herb just didn't see that it had come out, didn't see it on the ground while the commentary team's pointing at it. [The] point being, Shavkat didn't give a single sh*t that he did not have a mouthpiece in."
