"He has many strengths" - Nong-O admits streaking Kiamran Nabati's diverse skillset makes him a dangerous adversary

Former ONE bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Nong-O is not an easy fighter to catch off guard. The Thai veteran has encountered many different styles and opponents during his legendary career, which makes him a tough match for anyone.

After returning to the win column last time out with a victory over Kulabdam, the 37-year-old now faces a stern test at ONE Friday Fights 81. To return to the division's top, he must prove that he can hang with the rising contenders looking to take his spot.

Kiamran Nabati is exactly that and in three outings under the ONE Championship banner, he has come away with three wins.

In a recent interview with ONE Championship, the former king of the bantamweights looked to break down his opponent's game and what he believes he does well before they cross paths on Sept. 27.

"He has many strengths. He's a fighter with heavy weapons and heavy punches, and he is fast. He's good at kicking, but most importantly, he's a boxer with heavy punches."

Nong-O doesn't back down from a fight

All of Kiamran Nabati's dangerous attributes will not discourage a competitor like Nong-O. He's experienced far too much to back down from this kind of challenge, and on top of that, he knows what a win here could mean for him.

The legend of the game wants to reach the top of the mountain once again but in order to do that, he has to keep winning.

ONE Championship fans saw a more considered version of the former champ in action against Kulabdam this past April. We will now find out how he attempts to approach a hungry and dangerous foe like Nabati, who is looking for the biggest win of his career.
