Jarred Brooks knows all too well that life has a way of humbling people who need to be taken down a notch. As such, the new interim strawweight MMA world champion recently gave his two cents on arguably the hottest free agent in the MMA market right now, Muhammad Mokaev.
The undefeated 24-year-old has been making headlines as of late after his former employer, the UFC, refused to extend his contract. Multiple reports have indicated that Mokaev's conduct outside of fighting heavily influenced this decision.
Considering 'The Punisher' fights at 125 pounds, there's been some intrigue about how he'd fare against the aforementioned Jarred Brooks.

While 'The Monkey God' welcomes the idea of Mokaev possibly joining the world's largest martial arts organization, he believes the youngster must first need a serious attitude adjustment.
Jarred Brooks said in an interview with Sportskeeda MMA's Nick Atkin:
"I don't know if Chatri [Sityodtong] would would want to deal with this cr*p. So I don't [think] he wants to come into ONE Championship and act like that. And if he does, he needs to have a humble attitude and understand who's the real champion."

If Jarred Brooks had his way, he would love a chance to battle his idol Demetrious Johnson and then embark on his unification bout with rival Joshua Pacio.
However, since 'Mighty Mouse' is on a hiatus, while 'The Passion' recuperates from injury, the American is willing to fight other worthy contenders instead.
'The Monkey God' said in his ONE Fight Night 24 post-event interview after beating Gustavo Balart:
"I'm willing to take all and I'm not worried about anybody else in the division. If they want to give me Keito Yamakita for another interim belt, or if they want to give me Sanzhar [Zakirov]."
