Denis Puric was able to increase his own stock even in defeat earlier this year at ONE 167 in June.
'The Bosnian Menace' has always been a fan favorite under the ONE Championship banner because of his exciting fighting style. This was best defined by his recent kickboxing bout with Thai superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon.
Puric had some criticisms of 'The Iron Man' before the contest, but after both men went to war for three rounds, there was a lot of mutual respect and adoration between them.
The 39-year-old veteran is now set to return at ONE Fight Night 26 on Dec. 6, where he faces Elias Mahmoudi in a huge flyweight Muay Thai contest.

As for his former foe, Rodtang overcame Jacob Smith in a rematch at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. In a fight week interview with the Bangkok Post, Puric gave his thoughts on the Thai striker's dominant performance against the Brit.
Considering his history and relationships with both men, he was unsurprisingly very happy with how things played out:
"He put on a clinic that boy. That boy had no business in there with him. Not the first time, not this time. Yeah, it was a wonderful match to watch."

Denis Puric can look to muscle in on the world championship
After beating Jacob Smith earlier this year, Denis Puric made the switch to face Rodtang Jitmuangnon in kickboxing rather than challenging for the Muay Thai world championship.
However, after 'The Iron Man' was stripped of the belt after failing to make weight and pass his hydration test at ONE 169, the vacant title is up for grabs.
Puric knows that halting the winning streak of Elias Mahmoudi on December 6 will put him in the mix and he isn't going to let this opportunity slip past him.
ONE Fight Night 26 will be available to all active Amazon Prime Video subscribers in North America.
