MMA fans recently voiced their opinions after witnessing Theo Von shouting at Islam Makhachev during his UFC 302 fight against Dustin Poirier. Von couldn't hold onto his seat and sprung up in excitement during this act.
Von has showcased his affinity for the sport of MMA through multiple actions. Apart from gracing UFC pay-per-views, he has also hosted several MMA world personalities on the platform of his coveted podcast, including Dustin Poirier, Sean Strickland, and the UFC CEO Dana White.
Von was also in attendance at the Prudential Center along with several other celebrities for UFC 302. Being a Louisiana native, he was rooting for Poirier to win the UFC 302 main event against Islam Makhachev. He wanted more of a stand-and-strike-styled fight which would have maximized Poirier's chances.
An Instagram post from ESPN MMA showcased how Von screamed out in frustration when Makhachev tried to gain momentum by attempting a takedown on Poirier in the fourth round of the fight.
