Jonathan Di Bella voiced his respect for "really cool guy" Superbon.
Over the last two years, Di Bella has fought three times in ONE Championship, all for the strawweight kickboxing world title. The Canadian-Italian started his promotional tenure with wins against Zhang Peimian and Danial Williams before losing his throne against Prajanchai PK Saenchai.
At 28 years old, Di Bella has time to continue evolving and potentially regain ONE gold. The former world champion has improved his skills by working at various gyms, including the Superbon Training Center.
Di Bella talked about his experience training with Superbon during a recent interview with Nick Atkin:

"Yeah. He's a really cool guy. Yeah. I think he respects my style. He likes my style. And yeah, my two favorite Thai fighters are Sitthichai and Superbon, so yeah, I've been to both of their gyms, and they're really cool guys."
On June 28, Jonathan Di Bella attempted to defend his strawweight kickboxing world title against Prajanchai at ONE Friday Fights 68. Prajanchai emerged victorious by unanimous decision, making him a two-sport world champion.

Jonathan Di Bella plans to get back on track at ONE Fight Night 26
On Friday, December 6, Jonathan Di Bella will fight for the first time since being dethroned by Prajanchai. The Canadian-Italian's upcoming opponent for ONE Fight Night 26 is Rui Botelho, who maintains a kill-or-be-killed mindset.
Things haven't gone Botelho's way in Muay Thai before a win against Thongpoon PK Saenchai in October. Meanwhile, the Portuguese striker holds a record of 2-0 in kickboxing under the ONE banner, making him a potential strawweight contender if he can defeat Di Bella.
Di Bella has one goal in mind - regain the ONE strawweight kickboxing world title. Firstly, the 28-year-old can't overlook Botelho, as the latter has the skills needed to pull off an upset at ONE Fight Night 26.
ONE Fight Night 26 will take place inside the legendary Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand. Friday's event featuring two world title fights can be seen live and for free by North American viewers with a Prime Video subscription.
