Demetrious Johnson recently laid down a game plan for Henry Cejudo for a potential clash against Aljamain Sterling. According to Johnson, Cejudo should throw things up the middle to exploit Sterling's stand-up, which 'DJ' believes is not rhythmic yet.

'Mighty Mouse' told Joe Rogan during a recent appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience Podcast (JRE):

"What he [Cejudo] needs to do is just go out there, control the distance, throw body kicks. Well, he probably f***ing won't, cause he doesn't like getting taken down. But throw things up the middle, because Aljo, the thing is, backpack, big, he's coming on his own but his stand up is not rhythm. He has no rhythm on his feet."

When asked to elaborate on what he meant by rhythm, Johnson went on to provide a demonstration. Summing it up, 'Mighty Mouse' said that Sterling's striking is yet to reach the flow state unlike Henry Cejudo's, who appears to be dancing on his feet.

The former UFC champ continued:

"It's not flow, it's not smooth like a kickboxer. So it's kind of unorthodox. You watch Henry, Henry's moving, like he's dancing a little bit."

Henry Cejudo dismisses all of Aljamain Sterling's title wins

Aljamain Sterling scored a second-round submission win over a compromised T.J. Dillashaw in the co-main event at UFC 280. Henry Cejudo, who's long been rallying for a title shot, reiterated his demands in the immediate aftermath of his victory.

Dana White also suggested Henry Cejudo's name out of the blue for the next title shot even though Sean O'Malley defeated Petr Yan on the same card in what was billed as the number one contender bout. 'Triple C' has now taken another dig at Sterling, undermining all of his title wins.

Sterling became champion with a DQ victory over Petr Yan at UFC 259. 'Funk Master' defended his title with a closely contested split-decision victory in a rematch at UFC 273.

According to Cejudo, Sterling's first victory came due to his acting skills and he was gifted a decision in the rematch. 'Triple C' dismissed Sterling's latest win over Dillashaw as a hate crime against a handicapped fighter (Dillashaw had dislocated his shoulder).
