Regian Eersel is out to reclaim what was once his when he returns in the main event of ONE Fight Night 25 on October 4.
At Lumpinee Stadium, he will look to avenge the loss that he suffered last time out to end his dominant winning streak.
Many expected to hear "and still" following the main event of ONE Fight Night 21 because ONE fans hadn't seen much of Alexis Nicolas.
However, the French striker started the fight extremely well and was able to drop Eersel in the second round.

This meant that the defending world champion required to chase the fight in order to sway it back in his favor but he wasn't able to do that.
Heading into the rematch, Eersel was critical of the approach used by his opponent in their previous meeting.
After putting some distance between him and the champion, Nicolas was able to bank on the knockdown, which played a key role to help him win the fight.
Eersel, who still holds the ONE lightweight Muay Thai world title, spoke about this in a recent interview with ONE Championship:
"Yeah, the fourth and fifth rounds. I put a lot of pressure on him, but yeah, like I said, my left leg was bruised up, but I still was able to put the pressure on him and score some good points. And yeah, he was running around in the ring."
ONE Fight Night 25 is available live and free to all Prime Video subscribers in the United States and Canada.
Regian Eersel is out to correct the mistakes that he made
Regian Eersel was able to go back to the drawing board following his shock loss at ONE Fight Night 21.
The two defining factors in his loss were the knockdown and the damage that was done to his legs because he didn't check kicks or answer them early enough.
After being too aggressive, he was caught and dropped in the second round which put the emphasis on him to continue pressing the action.
'The Immortal' will undoubtedly have some answers for the defending world champion when they collide on Oct. 4.
