Christian Lee foresees a student surpassing his master type of scenario with his younger brother Adrian Lee. 'The Warrior' has taken the 18-year-old young star under his wing and has personally overseen his training as head coach.
Being influenced by the lightweight and welterweight MMA world champion has certainly bore dividends, as the youngest of the Lee brood has started his MMA career guns blazing.
Adrian Lee moved to 2-0 with another $50,000 bonus-winning performance at ONE 168: Denver on Sep. 6. 'The Phenom' lived up to his nickname once more, needing less than a round to submit Nico Cornejo inside the packed Ball Arena.

Post-match, the Lee brothers caught up with MMA journalist Nick Atkin. Christian Lee beamed with pride when asked how good his little brother had become.
Moreover, the 26-year-old two-weight champion believes Adrian could even become greater than him in the not-so-distant future. Christian Lee said:
"Yeah, absolutely. By far, [he's my best student]. He's almost better than me. He's on his way there, and it won't take long."
Being the youngest among the family of super athletes does come with perks since you get to absorb all the learnings from your more established siblings.
At the rate that he's going, Adrian Lee may just end up as the greatest fighter in that household.

Adrian Lee wants to make his own path in MMA
Being siblings with the likes of two-division MMA kingpin Christian Lee and former atomweight MMA queen Angela Lee certainly comes with a lot of expectations.
The 18-year-old, Adrian, though, has learned to embrace the pressure and use it as fuel to carve his own path.
"I think it's the legacy I'm chasing. After I'm done with my career. I plan to really stick around. I want to create a legacy for myself," he shared in the same interview.
