Johan Ghazali plans to put it on undefeated Colombian standout Johan Estupinan.
This Friday, January 24, 'Jojo' returns to the Circle seeking his seventh career win under the ONE Championship banner. But to do it, he'll also have to take the 'O' of one of the promotion's most exciting and explosive prospects when he meets Johan Estupinan at ONE 170 inside the iconic Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
Ghazali goes into his meeting with 'Panda Kick', knowing all too well about Estupinan's unorthodox style of fighting, which has admittedly served him well thus far.

But during a recent exclusive interview with Sportskeeda MMA, 'Jojo' suggested that Estupinan's penchant for throwing caution to the wind will ultimately be his undoing.
"Yeah, he is. He is very unorthodox," Ghazali said of Estupinan. "Definitely doesn’t fight like the Thais. A tricky test, he’s crazy, he’s fast, and he has a very weird style. But I think his downfall will be because he’s too crazy and too reckless."
Johan Ghazali ready to display his growth at ONE 170
Despite being only 18 years old, Johan Ghazali has all the makings of a future world champion.
Storming onto the scene in February 2023, 'Jojo' immediately caught the attention of fight fans with a brilliant 16-second knockout of Padetsuk Fairtex at ONE Friday Fights 6. Since then, he's earned highlight-reel KOs against Tai Sor Jor Piek Uthai, Temirlan Bekhmurzaev, and Edgar Tabares.
However, Ghazali's momentum was halted after being outworked by Vietnamese scrapper Nguyen Tran Duy Nhat at ONE 167 in June.
Taking the loss in stride, 'Jojo' learned from his mistakes and promptly climbed back into the win column with a big first-round finish against Josue Cruz at ONE 168: Denver three months later.
Now, he'll look to land the biggest win of his career and establish himself as a legitimate contender in the loaded ONE bantamweight Muay Thai division.
