Second-ranked flyweight Muay Thai contender Denis Puric always knew there was something special about Rodtang Jitmuangnon. However, he never actually believed it until he fought him at ONE 167.

The Canadian-Bosnian star had every intention of brawling with Rodtang. There was no question about that because he made it clear from the start.

Prior to their massive fight, Puric was unapologetically confident about his ability to "make a fool out of" Rodtang. But after everything was left in the circle, of course, Puric appreciates and respects Rodtang as a person and as a champion:

"All that things aside, that guy is a legend," he told Sportskeeda MMA. "You can't take anything away from Rodtang. He's done it all."

After leaving a war-torn country to live freely and pursue his passion, Puric made sure that Rodtang only got the best version of 'The Bosnian Menace'.

The two stars put their power punches on full display, swinging some mean hooks throughout the entire match with the sole focus of finding the knockout.

Rodtang didn't seem rocked every time Puric landed a shot, but Puric absolutely felt 'The Iron Man's' punches. Nevertheless, Puric welcomed the action-filled slugfest until the final bell.

"I'm trying to do what's been done for me" - Muay Thai veteran Denis Puric says he wants to give back to the community after fighting career is over

Denis Puric has big plans ahead of him when his fighting career comes to a conclusive end.

The childhood dream of fighting on a massive platform like ONE Championship has been fulfilled. He hopes that after everything is said and done, he can inspire a new generation of Muay Thai fighters at home just like his coach, Kru Alin, did for him:

"I want to be somebody's Kru Alin," he told ONE. "I'm trying to do what's been done for me and trying to pass on the knowledge, help people, and help them find their potential, whether it's fighting or it's something else."
