Liam Harrison may be coming off a lengthy layoff due to a devastating knee injury, but that won't stop the 'Hitman' from putting on a show when he makes his long-awaited return at ONE 167.

After nearly two years on the shelf, Harrison is officially back as of June 7 when ONE Championship heads back to the iconic Impact Arena in Bangkok. There, Liam Harrison will square off with Japanese standout Katsuki Kitano.

Sharing his thoughts on Harrison's comeback, three-sport superstar Danial Williams believes that Harrison will deliver the excitement, just as he's always done, despite the recent injury.

"Also, what I know, about Liam Harrison is that he's had a fair share of injuries in the past," Williams said. "But just because of this knee injury, it's not going to stop him from performing, you know. He's going to put on that crazy-a** fights that he always does."

Harrison's fight with Kitano will be his first since his ONE world title clash with then-bantamweight Muay Thai champion Nong-O Hama at ONE on Prime Video 1 in August 2022.

Liam Harrison is scheduled for two big fights in 2024

Planning to spoil Liam Harrison's moment at ONE 167 will be 25-win veteran Katsuki Kitano, making his second appearance for the promotion after snagging a big win over Halil Kutukcu at ONE Friday Fights 38 last October.

Much to fans' delight, ONE Championship recently announced that Harrison will compete on June 7 and step inside the Circle when ONE heads back to the United States three months later.

On Friday, Sept. 6, the 'Hitman' will square off with Thai sensation Seksan Or Kwuanmuang at ONE 168 in The Mile High City — Denver, Colorado — for ONE 168.
