Jake Paul's professional boxing career has enjoyed a dream start as the social media star has beaten multiple mixed martial artists and big names en route to a 6-0 record.
Ben Askren, Anderson Silva, and Tyron Woodley are some of the biggest combat sports personalities to feature on his resume. Former UFC lightweight Donald Cerrone recently remarked that he wouldn't mind fighting Paul for a big payday.

Fans on Instagram reacted to his statement under a post by MMA PACK and commented on the one-sided nature of a possible matchup. One fan referenced Cerrone's loss to Conor McGregor at UFC 246 and predicted a similar outcome:
"He's gonna take a dive like he did at UFC 246 vs McGregor"
Other fans remarked on the commercial benefits of going up against 'The Problem Child':
"Prize fighting…. Not fighting."
"I figured he’s willing to take another flop for a couple mill. Let em fight MMA at least tho."
Fans heavily backed Paul to get the win against an aging Donald Cerrone:
"NO ONE WANTS TO SEE THIS. CERRONE WOULD GET F*****G KILLED."
"Old, retired, weathered UFC veteran? Sounds right up Jake Paul’s alley."
"God no, we need to stop throwing retired mma fighters at Jake paul, especially the ones on losing streaks."

Donald Cerrone compares Jake Paul's hype to Conor McGregor
Donald Cerrone's last major opponent was Conor McGregor at UFC 246, where 'Cowboy' lost in the first round via knockout. He compared Paul's rise to McGregor's incredible peak where he was the face of the sport and commanded the biggest payout in his fights.
Cerrone said in an interview with Thiccc Boy Studio:
"The Jake Paul phenomenon is kind of crazy, it's got everybody calling him out. It's kind of like the big Conor push - I feel that's happening with Jake Paul. Everyone wants in, and I don't see why they wouldn't because that's a big money fight."
This is also when Cerrone expressed his desire to fight Paul as long as the money was right:
"Would I like to fight him? F**k, of course, how could I say no to f**king millions of dollars? I would definitely go out there and do it, but I'm not sitting over here saying, 'Jake, you're a f**king YouTuber, ain't worth a f**k, blah, blah, blah.' No man, you're making money. Make the f**king money and if you want to throw some money my way, I'm with you."
