Stamp Fairtex always had a laidback personality inside and outside the cage, and she'd often have some harmless fun at the expense of those close to her. That includes her fiance Anthony Duong.
In an interview with Nick Atkin, the reigning ONE women's atomweight MMA world champion recalled how she first met her California-based beau. Stamp said Duong popped up to train Muay Thai at Stamp's home gym Fairtex Training Center in Pattaya, Thailand
Ever the lighthearted fighter girl that she is, Stamp decided to poke fun at Duong and test his striking skills.

Stamp Fairtex said:
"He came to the gym and that's where we met. He's good [in Muay Thai], [but he's] basic."
Stamp's relationship with Duong largely flew under the public's radar until their engagement was revealed in June this year.
The former ONE atomweight kickboxing and Muay Thai world champion has been out of action after she tore the meniscus in her left knee in a routine sparring session during training camp for ONE 167.
Stamp was preparing for her world title defense against close friend and former training partner Denice Zamboanga when she suffered the knee injury in May this year. After having surgery in June, Stamp has been undergoing physical therapy to regain the strength in her left leg.
Stamp Fairtex says her fighting career is still her priority despite her engagement
She may have gotten that all-important ring around her finger, but Stamp Fairtex says her martial arts career is still her priority.
The Thai megastar told Nick Atkin that her marriage to Antony Duong won't take place until a few years later.
Stamp said Duong wholeheartedly supports her incredible ONE Championship career and the 26-year-old even joked that she's more interested in raking money than settling down to a married life. She said:
"Thank you. It’s just an engagement, but it’s mainly like four or five years [or more]. Because I’m still hungry to fight, and I’m hungry for money."
