UFC light heavyweight Khalil Rountree Jr. has provided an update on his injuries sustained at the UFC 307 pay-per-view event on Oct. 5. The event saw Rountree Jr. locking horns against Alex Pereira for the light heavyweight belt at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Both athletes delivered a highly entertaining back-and-forth battle that ended with a TKO victory for Pereira in the fourth round.
'The War Horse' took to his Instagram stories to share a picture of his face with multiple stitches on it. An MMA account named @Home_of_Fight uploaded the picture on X.

The post caught the attention of multiple MMA fans, who weighed in on it in the comments section.
One fan observed that Rountree Jr. was healing quickly from the injuries sustained in the UFC 307 headliner.
"He's healing pretty fast [to be fair]."
Another individual advised the 34-year-old to work on his fighting skills.

'The Spider' uploaded a post on Instagram where he praised the two athletes and congratulated 'Poatan' for the victory.
Silva then proceeded to pay a touching tribute for his efforts on Oct. 5.
