ONE Championship chairman and CEO Chatri Sityodtong made headlines last week when he said his triple world titleholder, reigning and undisputed ONE heavyweight, light heavyweight, and middleweight MMA world champion 'Sladkiy' Anatoly Malykhin would defeat former UFC champion Francis Ngannou quite easily.
Sityodtong is certain that his athlete would smoke 'The Predator' if they ever fought, and he even details how Malykhin would do it.
Speaking to the media at a recent ONE Championship media day, Sityodtong shared his thoughts on how a potential Malykhin matchup against Ngannou would go down, as well as a hypothetical fight against all-time great Jon Jones.

The ONE Championship head honcho said:
"To be a former Russian national team wrestler, this is very hard. He's the best from Siberia. He's a killer. So I would see that Anatoly would do a quick double shot, take it to the ground very fast and the fight would be over very quickly."
Sityodtong added:
"I think Jon Jones would be a tougher fight. But I think Anatoly's power mixed with his athleticism, he's faster than Jon Jones. Jon Jones is longer than Anatoly, but Anatoly is faster and has better wrestling and more knockout power, more one-punch knockout power, but that would be a very fun fight. That's a very exciting fight. But again, I think Jon Jones said he's going to retire after this fight, so he's at the very end of his career. I think Anatoly is only getting started. Anatoly is very fresh. He's finished everybody in front of him. So I think he would beat both heavyweights quite easily."
