29-year-old Russian Muay Thai superstar Kiamran Nabati says he will not underestimate upcoming opponent Nong-O Hama in any way, citing that the veteran is not only a really good fighter but also very dangerous despite his advanced age.
Nabati is getting ready to trade leather with the Thai legend next weekend, and he is deep into preparations for what he believes will be one of the toughest tests of his young career.
Speaking to the South China Morning Post in a recent interview, Nabati talked about Nong-O and why he simply can't take the veteran lightly.

The Archangel Michel representative stated:
"I know he’s old, but he’s also dangerous. I can’t say he’s old and very easy. Nong-O has a lot of experience, and he was a champion for many years. It’s gonna be good fight. I have so much respect for him, and it’s a big honor for me to fight Nong-O and show the world who I am."
Needless to say, if Nabati can defeat Nong-O, it would be a huge statement. A berth in the division's top five is possible since Nong-O is a former champion and holds the no.3 spot.
Nabati is looking to take Nong-O's position and perhaps make noise for the next crack at the world title.
