Nico Carrillo fancies his chances when he collides with two-sport ONE world champion 'The Kicking Machine' Superlek Kiatmoo9 in the co-main event of ONE 170.

However, the Scottish slugger doesn't necessarily think he'd be running rings around the defending king on Jan. 24.

That evening inside the Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand, 'King of the North' will attempt to steal the Thai's ONE bantamweight Muay Thai crown in a moment that he has been waiting for almost two years.

The Deachkalek Muay Thai Academy man earned his shot off an electrifying run of knockouts, crushing the likes of former divisional king Nong-O Hama and world title challenger Saemapetch Fairtex on his way to a ranked spot.

Now, sitting at the No. 2 spot, Carrillo's confidence has seen a parallel growth to his career development. That said, the 26-year-old fighter knows Superlek isn't someone to be overlooked.

During a chat with Sky Sports earlier this week, Carrillo responded to a question on whether 'The Kicking Machine' is in the form of his life, saying:

"Yes, truly, right now [he's at his best]. He's at his peak, truly."

Nico Carrillo vs. Superlek joins two other world title bangers at ONE 170

On paper, Nico Carrillo and Superlek's world title joust is a clear-cut Fight of the Night contender, but the other pair of matchups for 26 pounds of gold promise to be just as entertaining.

Divisional king Fabricio Andrade and Kwon Won Il run it back for the ONE bantamweight MMA world title. The defending king shut down the South Korean when they last met, and he's fired up to do the same on this blockbuster card.

In the headline attraction, Tawanchai PK Saenchai and Superbon add another chapter to their rivalry in another five-round scrap that will determine the fate of the ONE featherweight Muay Thai world title.
