Jonathan Haggerty and his younger brother, Freddie, are on the right track to be the next superstar siblings in ONE Championship.

After the world champions families like the Lees and Ruotolo brothers, these two stars would have the biggest chance of joining the exclusive club, as Freddie is geared up for his next return in ONE Friday Fights weekly series.

Meanwhile, the older Haggerty is slated to defend his title at ONE 168: Denver against old rival and ONE flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9.

In a recent interview with Sportskeeda MMA, Haggerty mentioned how his brother is very excited to return following an impressive promotional debut with ONE.

'The General' said:

"Yeah, he's excited to get back. He's buzzing. He wanted to go again as soon as possible. But they've come with a date now. So he's ready to go, and he can't wait to come out to Thailand for the training camp. I'm excited for him as well."

Although the fight has yet to be announced, fans would be clamoring for another electrifying return of the younger Haggerty.

Jonathan Haggerty says he respects Superlek as a 'tough foe' in ONE 168

Ahead of the much-anticipated title defense clash between the two-sport ruler Jonathan Haggerty and flyweight kickboxing king Superlek Kiatmoo9 at ONE 168: Denver on Sept. 6, the two shared a brief encounter.

Both superstars were seen attending ONE 167 at the sold-out Impact Arena, Bangkok, on June 7, before Haggerty is set to defend his bantamweight Muay Thai belt in Denver, Colorado.

Following the short meet-up, 'The General' shared his opinion about his upcoming foe in the same interview with Sportskeeda MMA.

He said:

"Yeah, I've seen Superlek. I saw them all. But there wasn't much back-and-forth between me and Superlek. It was just like 'How are you.'"
"Basically, there's mutual respect between me and Superlek. It was just good to be around it, you know, back in the ONE Championship atmosphere, and what a show it was."

While the encounter was brief, there's no telling what will happen when they both clash in what is to be expected as a barnburner fight in U.S. primetime.

Tickets to ONE 168: Denver are available via Ticketmaster.
