Speaking with Sky Sports ahead of his highly anticipated return to the Circle, Carrillo believes he knows why 'The Kicking Machine' has dominated the competition throughout his ONE Championship run:

"He’s very active. He’s been an elite [Muay Thai fighter] for a long time," Carrillo said. "He’s a fighter. He fights whoever they say. He just goes out and he fights. He’s not scared to fight anybody. When you do that so many times, you build a crazy belief in yourself. You know that you’re unstoppable and have the confidence to fight."

It will be Superlek's first time defending the ONE bantamweight Muay Thai crown since capturing the world title via a jaw-dropping 49-second elbow knockout of Jonathan Haggert at ONE 168: Denver.

Superlek goes into the contest unbeaten in the art of eight limbs since making his ONE debut, going 11-0 in the process with noteworthy wins against Nabil Anane, Tagir Khalilov, Rodtang Jitmuangnon, Kongthornaee, and the aforementioned Jonathan Haggerty.

'The Kicking Machine' has also found success in the flyweight kickboxing division, capturing the weight class' top prize against Daniel Puertas before successfully defending it against three-sport star Danial Williams and Japanese kickboxing legend Takeru Segawa.

Will Superlek continue his reign of terror over the ONE banner and hand Carrillo his first loss under the promotional banner?

Fans in the United States and Canada can watch ONE 170: Tawanchai vs. Superbon II will air live on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, Jan. 24 in U.S. primetime.
