Reigning ONE flyweight kickboxing and bantamweight Muay Thai world champion Superlek Kiatmoo9 certainly passed his most recent test with flying colors.
'The Kicking Machine' was able to stop the red-hot Jonathan Haggerty in his tracks at ONE 168: Denver last September, needing just 49 seconds to knock out the Brit and steal his crown.
Needless to say, Superlek's confidence is at an all-time high after blitzing through one of the best strikers in the world.
After a quick night at the office against 'The General', Superlek believes he'll have an even easier time in his first bantamweight Muay Thai world title defense.

The Thai megastar will put his newly won belt on the line against surging Scotsman Nico Carrillo in the co-main event of ONE 170 on Jan. 24, 2025, at Impact Arena in Bangkok, Thailand.
'King of the North' has practically bullied the opposition in the 145-pound ranks, going berserk with four straight vicious finishes.
While Carrillo is easily the most fearsome challenger in the division, Superlek thinks the No.2-ranked contender won't be able to keep up with him.
The double champ told Andrew Whitelaw of the South China Morning Post:
“Nico is an easier opponent than Haggerty. He’s got the size and the power but he’s slow.”
Superlek guarantees all-out action against Nico Carrillo
Nico Carrillo always figures in violent wars, something that Superlek is looking forward to.
'The Kicking Machine' never backs down from anyone, even against a massive heavy-handed challenger who loves to march forward and bang.
In the same SCMP interview, the two-weight and two-sport champ urged fans to not miss this guaranteed barnburner at ONE 170.
"I'd like all the fans to come and see this fight with Nico Carrillo, as it'll be exciting for sure."
