Asa Ten Pow understands that John Lineker is extremely dangerous as long as there's time on the clock.
As such, 'The American Ninja' promises to keep an eagle eye for the entire duration of his bantamweight Muay Thai slugfest with 'Hands of Stone' at ONE 168: Denver this coming September 6.
Speaking to ONE Championship ahead of this explosive all-striking encounter at Ball Arena, Ten Pow admitted that all it takes is a split-second lapse in judgment for the heavy-handed Lineker to shut the lights out of anyone.
"I have to be very sharp. I have to be very disciplined in my pursuit of him. He's someone who can catch you at any moment. As we've seen, he's been able to knock people out in the last second, and he's been able to weather some tough battles."

While this will be John Lineker's first foray into 'The Art of Eight Limbs', Ten Pow knows better than to downplay his opponent's iconic finishing power.
The former bantamweight MMA world champion displayed that he could turn the tide of any match with his last-second TKO of Kim Jae Woong at ONE Fight Night 13 last year.
Moreover, the Brazilian can also absorb punishment as well as he can dish it. This godly durability allows Lineker to stay in the fight and possibly land those nukes tucked away in his fists.

John Lineker says the game plan stays the same in Muay Thai debut
John Lineker has made a name for himself in MMA for fearlessly pushing action and hunting for that killing blow every time.
'Hands of Stone' says nothing changes in his Muay Thai debut against Ten Pow.
After all, this all-striking affair will still be contested in four-ounce gloves, which definitely plays in his favor.
"I always look for the knockout, and it certainly won’t be any different this time. I’m going to look for the knockout all the time, round by round, and I hope I can do it," Lineker told ONE.
